Description
Cummins 4932457 fuel control actuator for '03-'07 Dodge Turbo Diesel trucks equipped with the 5.9L engine. Located on the side of the high pressure fuel injection pump, the electronic fuel control actuator meters the amount of fuel flow to the high pressure fuel pumping chambers in the high pressure fuel pump.NOTE: This is an electrical part and if it has been installed on your truck it is non-returnable.
NOTE: Geno's will include replacement screws (4MM Allen screws, not those ding-dang T25 Torx) at no charge.

Replaced my FCA on my 2007 5.9L Cummins. To say the least it runs like a brand new truck now, if your truck is idling rough or surging on the road I highly recommend trying this. I thought it rode and shook so bad because it was a 3/4 ton solid axle truck turns out it was pretty violent surging throughout the RPM range. Again great price, excellent bill of materials and the truck is happy again.

My '04 Ram 2500 Cummins was having a rough idle and stalling at idle issue. I ordered the fuel control actuator from Genos and installed on my truck. Problem SOLVED. Super fast shipping also. I ordered on a Thursday and the part arrived that Friday. They also threw in a 6in Cummins decal and some sun glasses for free. Was hoping for a hat. But maybe on my next order. Thanks Genos. Until recently, I never heard this part was so important to re-establishing the proper operation of the Common Rail Cummins engine. My truck was suffering for about four years with occasional rough idle, a rough feeling engine even at highway speed, loss in low end torque, and occasional stalling immediately after starting in cold weather. Much of this came on slowly so it wasn't immediately evident, plus it would come and go, so hard to pinpoint the cause. But with the installation of the new Fuel Control Actuator from Geno's, the truck is running like new again.
Fixed Cold Start Lope

Ordered item and replaced in 12 degree weather because morning startups would have a bad lope and set off codes for Cam Shaft Sensor P0341. I have a FASS setup with pressure gauge at 15psi so I knew it was getting fuel. Was worried it was injectors. Diesel tech said it was sticky injectors as it ran fine once started but had a little jump in idle every now and then. Once FCA replaced, pressure build up from the FASS pump was instant to 15psi and it started really fast. Next morning at 11 degrees it started immediately at high idle of 1k rpm and held there smoothly. This fixed the issue of cold start lopes and pressure not building fast enough from the FASS pump at startups. Idle jumps are gone now and it is smooth and steady at 700 rpm. Thanks Geno for OEM quality part with instructions and extra bolts. This helped me fix an issue I have been tracing down for over a month now.

2004 Cummins. Fuel rail pressure was surging roughly 1000psi from desired pressure. Truck also ran with a hiccup every 5 or so seconds when rail pressure would surge 3000 psi. I ordered the regulator on the Wednesday before thanksgiving and received it on the following Monday. Included in the box was a sweet sticker, fca, fca bolts, a magazine, and some candy. Installed the actuator and the truck runs like a top. Mileage increased .5/1 mpg since then also. The part was 1/2 the price oreillys gave me. Great parts, great service!!
