Description

The FASS PF-3001XL extended length fuel filter is rated @ 144 microns. The 144 micron particulate filter on the suction side of the FASS system will drastically reduce cavitation, increase flow, lower the sound output of the fuel system and removes larger fuel particulates.

Only works in conjunction with the XWS-3002-XL water separator.

Replaces FS1001 filter.

This filter is recommended if you put a lot of miles on your truck in short amount of time for an extended service interval. However, it is not recommended for use on off-road trucks as the filter will hang below the frame and will be susceptible to damage.

IMPORTANT NOTE: When replacing the discontinued FASS filters with the new PF-3001XL, the XWS-1002 will now be placed on the pressure side of the pump and the PF-3001XL will be placed on the suction side. PLEASE SEE THE LOCATION DIAGRAM PRINTED ON THE NEW FILTER FOR PROPER FILTER PLACEMENT.
