Description

Nowadays a damaged radiator hose isn't as obvious as it used to be by the appearance of bulges or cracking. The primary cause of coolant hose failure is an electrochemical attack on the rubber tube compound in the hose which goes unseen without giving the hose a good squeeze.

Get a GATES 22892 upper radiator hose for '03-'09 Dodge Turbo Diesel 5.9L or 6.7L trucks which offers improved performance characteristics over standard rubber radiator hoses.

This hose arrived quickly and was installed in less than 10 minutes. Note: you don't need to drain the radiator since this is at the top. I cut a gallon jug, took the thermostat end off first and put it in the jug and then pointed the hose and jug towards the fuel filter to drain the hose. Then replace the hose and put the coolant captured back in the radiator. Simple. Also, I shopped for price and Geno's price is great.
