Need one of these when traveling in remote areas

It is not hard to replace a tensioner assembly, unless you do not have one. Keeping a spare is a good idea, especially when towing in remote areas. You may see one portion of your belt peel off. Having a belt and a tensioner assembly when this happens makes it a minor issue.

I picked this up as a spare, so far the original has not failed, but I have one if it happens. Seems the original spring is well made.

I installed this on my 92 W250. It is much beefier than the stock unit. Took care of belt noise during cold starts.
