'98.5-'26 Dodge Cummins Diesel Engine Block Heater

Description

Replacement Cummins engine block heater for '98.5-'26 Dodge Turbo Diesel trucks equipped with 5.9L or 6.7L engines. This engine block heater is threaded directly into the engine block.

The engine block heater is located on the passenger side of the engine, about two inches in back of the oil filter.

Does not include heater cable. Order separately.

NOTE: Before ordering this product double-check to see which engine block heater your truck is equipped with. There is some overlap of years where the '94-'98 Turbo Diesel trucks use either this engine block heater or #3916127.

Cummins factory replacement part. Very reasonable price. Fairly simple install. Remove intake for easy access and you will need to drain coolant.

Last winter, I discovered my block heater was not working! I hoped it was a bad cord, but the cord was OK; continuity test on the heater element showed it was bad... I plan to install this new heater at the next oil change this coming fall.
