Description
What if you did not order the factory-installed, heated seats in your Dodge Ram truck and wish you had? The answer is a Rostra Controls seat heater kit. This kit fits one seat.
The carbon fiber heating elements warm up quickly, and the 13/16" round three-position switch allows for High/Low/Off operation. Some truck owners install the heaters in the conventional manner (bottom and back). Others, typically with back problems, stack the heating elements for a back-only heat.
Position of the heater elements requires removal of the Ram seat covers, but installation is not difficult as your truck's seat covers are easy to remove. Our custom instructions will show you how we installed the heat elements.

Installed these before a snowboarding trip about 5 years back. They work amazing. Still after all these years within 1 minute my seats are perfectly warm/hot. If you're looking for some add on heated seats these are the ones to buy

Q: Can the Rostra Seat Heater be used as an OEM replacement?A: We often get asked if the Rostra Seat Heater Kit can be used to replace the OEM seat heaters that have given up. We can understand why. Failure is not uncommon and replacing the OEM seat heaters is expensive and usually they have been discontinued. So the answer is yes and no.
Yes, the Rostra Seat Heater Kit will replace your factory seat heaters.
But, NO, it cannot be wired in to the factory set-up.
Removing the OEM seat heaters is fairly easy once the seat cover is removed. The Rostra kit goes where they were. By the way, the Rostra kit includes new switches.
Q: Does the Rostra switch fit in the factory hole in the dash?
A: It does not fit as the Rostra switch is round. Here is are two images of the Rostra switch:
