Borgeson/Gates OEM-style replacement power steering hoses for '97-'02 Dodge Ram trucks with Hydro-Boost brake system.

If the power steering pump has failed and your truck has high miles on it, it is a good idea to replace the power steering hoses at the same time to avoid contamination of the new pump.

Kit includes all hoses and all clamps for Hydro Boost system.

This kit attaches to the metal lines on the hydro booster.

IMPORTANT NOTE: When replacing the power steering pump, steering box or hoses, it is mandatory to flush the power steering system. Failure to do so will result in damage to these parts and void the manufacturer warranty.

I ordered the brake lines thinking that they included steel lines at the top that connected to the brake booster because your picture showed steel ends. When I received them I found out that they did not include the steel pipes to the brake booster and the steel ends were for the bottom connection to the steering pump. It would be good to supply these lines because they are not sold by Dodge anymore and they have ends that cannot be made by auto shops. Fortunately for me, despite heavy rust, I was able to reuse mine. It would be responsible for you as a supplier to note in your product description that these are not the complete lines to the brake booster and do not include the steel lines that connect to the booster.
Owner Response:We have updated our description to reflect that replacement lines hook up to the hard lines that are threaded into the hydro booster. We have not been able to source the hard lines that hook directly up to the hydro booster. Sorry for any trouble this has caused.
