The 18mm Femco Drain Valve for your '02 and newer Dodge Cummins Turbo Diesel helps drain the engine oil in several ways.

  • It permanently replaces the drain valve . . . no more leaking valve seals/washers
  • The factory valve is replaced, eliminating the opportunity for fracture
  • Simplifies oil changes

The patented drain tube screws into the oil valve. As you screw in the drain tube assembly, it pushes up a rubber sealed/spring loaded drain valve. Drain the oil, remove the drain tube (thus resealing the drain valve), reinstall the rubber sealed drain cap, and you're finished.

Customers have certainly had problems with the engine oil drain valve that was introduced in 1994. The oil pan on the Cummins engine is made only for the Dodge Turbo Diesel and the oil drain valve is countersunk and recessed into the pan as a safety measure for clearance. It features a thin flange and is made to be removed/tightened with a 1/2" drive ratchet.

NOTE: The oil drain valve will not work without the drain tube. Please add it to your order if you do not already have one.

I have used these valves on two other cars and now my Ram Cummins 6.7 and I have to tell you they work great. They fit good low profile and haven't had one leak yet. Great product.

I use these drain valves on all my vehicles. No more dropping the oil drain plug in the oil pan or oil running down your arm. So easy a cave man could do it!
