Description

FASS PF-3001XL 144 Micron Extended Length Fuel Filter - Titanium and Titanium Signature Series

Product Overview:

Upgrade your FASS fuel system on your Dodge Ram truck with the PF-3001XL extended length fuel filter. Rated at 144 microns, this particulate filter is designed to enhance the performance and longevity of your FASS system.

Positioned on the suction side, the 144 micron rating significantly reduces cavitation, promotes increased fuel flow, and helps lower the operational sound of the fuel system by efficiently removing larger fuel particulates. Its extended length is ideal for owners who accumulate high mileage in short periods, allowing for extended service intervals between filter changes.

Key Features:

• Micron Rating: 144 microns
• Type: Particulate Fuel Filter (Extended Length)
• Placement: Designed for the suction side of FASS Titanium and Titanium Signature Series systems
• Benefits: Helps reduce cavitation, increase fuel flow, and lower system sound output
• Filtration: Removes larger fuel particulates
• Service Interval: Extended length supports longer service intervals for high-mileage applications

Compatibility:

• FASS Titanium and Titanium SignatureSeries Fuel Systems (must be used with XWS-3002-XL) on Dodge Ram trucks

Installation:

• This filter replaces the older FS1023 filter but requires a change in placement.
• When upgrading from older FASS filters, ensure the PF-3001XL is installed on the suction side of your FASS pump.
• Always refer to the location diagram printed on the new filter for proper placement relative to the water separator.
• Ensure this filter is used in conjunction with the XWS-3002-XL water separator filter for correct system function.

Important Notes:

• This extended filter is not recommended for use on off-road trucks as its length may cause it to hang below the frame, making it susceptible to damage.
• This filter only works in conjunction with the FASS XWS-3002-XL water separator.
• When replacing older FASS FS1023 filters with the PF-3001XL, note the necessary change in filter placement within the system as indicated above and on the filter itself.
