after doing a lot of research when my stock unit finally gave up at 140k, i don't see the point in spending OEM money for a unit when the Gates is essentially identical. pulley is same diameter, same number of impeller blades, and it looks identical. just doesn't come in that expensive "Mopar" box.

The pump we received was exactly the same os the one from DODGE, but a much better price. Glad we checked.

I rcecently order3ed a few products from Geno's garage, among then was this pump. I received a partial order 5 days later. When inspecting the order i noticed that the impeller of the pump was brocken. It looks like it was due to poor packaging from Gates. Now i have to return it and wait for a new one. Not happy about this experience.
Failed in less than 10k miles

When my stock failed at 75k, this seemed like a great alternative. However after less than 10k miles, it's squeezing like crazy and I'll have to replace again. Get OEM and dont waste your money.
Owner Response:Thank you for the review and very sorry for the water pump failure. We have been selling Gates water pumps for many years and this is certainly not the norm.
