Description
The most common problem with a Bosch alternator in the '03-'07 Dodge Cummins Turbo Diesel truck equipped with the 5.9L engine is that the brushes wear out. Without good brush-to-armature contact the electrical charge to the battery is weak and you'll find your truck has dim lights and a weak or dead battery.The rebuild kit includes:
- Armature brushes
- (2) bearings

Many just buy a new alternator and the smart ones replace the wearable parts. This was a simple and easy fix. Package was nice and simple, on time and I got my free decal. I owe Robin a big thank you for always providing great customer service even when something on my end falls through. It's hard to find consistency in customer service. Genos staff regardless of the associate, are ALL understanding of what true customer service is. Whether it is installing a product and having them spend time troubleshooting it with me, or providing warranty replacements without a fuss or hassle. As far as I'm concerned this is the only way to go if your alternator is going out.

Easy rebuild. The only issue was locating a puller for the clutch pulley. It would be great if you sold that as well.
