Description

Improve the cooling capacity of the automatic transmission and make fluid changes much easier in your '89-'97, 5.9L Dodge Cummins truck with the addition this Mag-Hytec "Double Deep" transmission pan. More fluid capacity and cooling fins get it done. For those concerned with the pan being too obtrusive, the Double Deep pan is still tucked 1/2" above the truck's center cross-member of the frame. Fits the stock Dodge 727, 518, 46RH, 46RE, 47RE or 48RE automatic transmission.

The Mag-Hytec "Double Deep" pan has all the same features as the Deep Pan, but the inside depth of the pan is increased from 3" to 5.25", which adds (up to) another four quarts of fluid capacity to the system.

Pan includes:

  • Installation hardware and tools
  • Pan gasket
  • Spacer hardware to relocate filter
  • Magnetic drain plug
  • 1/8 NPT fitting for a temperature sensor
  • Installation instructions
  • Transmission filter

    I truly believe in you get what you pay for, this piece is like a work of art. It holds approximately an extra Gallon, just as advertised and fit and finish is near perfect. Just be careful not to strip the Allen head's. Only problem with this unit is they no longer use o ring seals like they used too, which isn't a deal breaker. Much better than the cheaper pans on the market
