Description

Borgeson direct replacement power steering box for the 2009-2024 Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 4WD trucks without LaneSense lane departure warning. Fits factory original pitman arm and hoses. For use with either factory steering shaft or Borgeson Heavy Duty replacement. No modifications required to use either the original or the Borgeson steering shaft. No core charge. All Borgeson power steering boxes are assembled and tested in the USA from globally sourced components and have a 3 year manufacturer's warranty.

NOTE:This steering box will not work on Cab/Chassis trucks as they use a different chassis than the pickup trucks.

NOTE:This steering box will not work on 2020 and newer trucks with LaneSense Lane Departure Warning.

IMPORTANT! TECHNIQUE TO PROPERLY CENTER YOUR NEW GEAR BOX
Make sure that any gear box that is installed is installed properly centered. Turn the input shaft all the way to one direction, then count turns to the full stop at the other direction. Split this number in half then turn the input shaft back to find the proper center. Once true center is found, make a paint pen mark at the top of the sector shaft that will still be visible once the pitman ram is installed, then make another line just above it on the gear box body. After the gear box is installed and the alignment completed, the lines must still line up perfectly. If not, the gear box is no longer centered and will wander on the road.

I have a 2019 Ram 2500 longhorn with a 3" Carli level kit on 35 ..it has 105000 miles on it, it have noticed a pulsating feeling in the steering wheel and lots of wandering, i thought I was going crazy, talked to dealership and lots of other owners that said it was normal?? I drive a lot in the snow in 4 wheel drive , I finally found Geno's garage online and they told me it was my steering box and sold me a Borgeson steering box and I just installed it a couple of days ago and my truck drives way better and feels like a sports car... it is definitely stiffer but way more control!! Thank you, Geno, and Borgeson!!!

I have a 2016 3500 4X4 CCLB w/ 88k miles. I was experiencing an odd pulsing in my OEM steering gear when I would have the wheel turned slightly in long sweeping curves on the highway. After doing some research online, I figured it was likely the OEM steering gear. I ordered this Borgeson part from Genos and had it installed the same day it arrived. WOW! What a difference! This steering gear fit perfectly with no issues of any kind. The pulsing in the wheel is completely gone and my 3500 drives perfectly straight. The steering slightly firmer overall, however, I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend this to anyone with similar steering issues! Thanks Genos!!
