Description
Tie rod adjusting sleeve for 2014-2018 Ram 2500 and 2013-2018 Ram 3500 trucks with the original design and turnbuckle. Reference safety recall V06.
On 2014-2018 Ram 2500 and 2013-2018 Ram 3500 trucks, the original equipment steering drag link has an adjustment sleeve with jam nuts that can loosen and cause the link to separate from the adjuster sleeve, potentially resulting in a loss of steering control. The dealer repair (safety recall V06) for this issue is to weld the factory nuts to the adjuster sleeve, which makes future adjustments difficult and time-consuming. In some cases, the entire drag link assembly must be replaced.

This convenient solution is engineered to replace the failure-prone factory sleeve and allow future steering adjustments that can be securely locked into place on the existing drag link.
