When it's time to service your Ram truck's 68RFE transmission, save money and time with our convenient Transmission Quick Service Kit with RTV.

This service kit includes the filters and enough RTV for one transmission service interval.

RTV sealant serves an a fine substitute for a gasket, and in most Ram Cummins Turbo Diesel trucks with the 68RFE transmission came from the factory with the transmission pan sealed with RTV instead of a gasket.

The Permatex Ultra Grey we include with this kit is specified for high torque and high vibration applications, including tranmission pans, valve covers, water pumps, intake manifold end seals, and thermostat housings. It's a formula that is OEM-specified to fit dealership warranty requirements and meets performance specs of OE silicone gaskets.

INSTALL NOTE: This Mopar 68RFE spin-on filter comes with a plastic nipple that can easily cross-thread. Be careful during the installation. We do offer a replacement stainless steel nipple that can be reused at each transmission filter service and keep the plastic nipple from being an issue.
