Description
Increase the storage capacity of the center console and help avoid messy liquid spills in the interior of your '94-'97 Dodge Ram with our handy center console cup holder.The cup holder is form fitted to the inside diameters of the console. It is installed in minutes to the existing console.Using the velcro strip included with the cup holder, it attaches to the inside of the console. Once installed you will find that the thickness of the cup holder does not allow the console lid to latch properly, but this can be easily fixed. (See note below.)
Cup wells are 4" deep. Upper diameter: 3-3/4". Lower diameter: 2-3/4". Has slot for coffee mug handle. The side pocket is the perfect dimension to hold your cell phone and/or wallet
NOTE: The latch closure in the '94-'97 trucks can be adjusted by turning the metal shaft extending from the base of the console counterclockwise to increase the height. Instructions are included with the cup holder.
NOTE: Due to clearance issues we do not recommend this cup holder to be used with manual transmissions. While it can be installed it will cause interference with 2nd, 4th and reverse depending on the cup size.

This really helped with the odd placement of the OEM. Dodge Ram drink holders, and added extra storage for small items.

Flimsy junk not worth 60 dollars with shipping as thin plastic as it is made after. Installation is can only be made by turning a welded, glued latch not that I would have had to tear my console apart to budge.not worth the money

I am not familiar with a center console latch stud that is welded or glued from the factory. Installation is typically very quick and painless. Please feel free to return for a refund.

Installed this cup holder about ten years ago. It is a MAJOR improvement over what the factory installed. I wouldn't trade it for anything. From a "bang-for-your-buck" standpoint, it's one of the best things I've done to my truck.

This is a decent price for this usually "overpriced everywhere" item. When I got it, I found the price fair considering the good quality. (I'm cheap). This item is thick and solid and should be durable.

Very easy to put in. Convenient and works grest. I have a 5 speed manual so the dhifter hits the drivers side drink (if you have a large cup in it) but still works like a charm! Wish I found this earlier and saved myself countless spilled drinks all over my cab from that worthless factory cup holder! Buy this! You won't regret it!

Cup holder was installed on a 97 1500 with a 5 speed. The holder fits well but it is a close fit between the shifter and the front of the holder. The only downside is the depth of the side holders. They are only about an inch of so deep which may be good foe coins but useless for anything else. If at least one of them went full depth like the cup holder openings, it would be great for a cell phone.

The cup holder works well. It fits my yeti perfectly. But the shifter does hit in my 2nd gen 3500 4x4. But it'll still go into gear just watch ya fingers.

Worth every penny. Installed in my 96 and I now have reliable cup holders. Mine is a 5 speed and 2nd and 4th do get close to some bottles, but I would highly recommend this to every second gen owner.

Writing this review from Faro, Yukon Territory, far off the beaten path, so to speak.
Driven hundreds of very rough dirt/gravel road getting to this point, and my new cup holder from Genos for my '97 Ram has stood the test!
No more coffee cups rattling and shaking and jumping out of the original fouled up cup holder!
If you don't like spilled drinks and flying cups, get one of these aftermarket cup holders from Genos!
Then head for the Yukon!

This replacement cup holder is just the ticket, The original dash mounted cup holder is such a poor design, poorly executed. The Geno's replacement is easy to install on my 1996 arm rest. I would recommend that the directions be rewritten to be more clear.

Cup holder is a very nice piece. Installed just as it should. I feel it was a little pricey for a piece of plastic, but is what it is. Only real complaint is there looks to be a mold defect in between the cup holders, in the plastic. There is a goofy square, offset of center in between the holders.

The cup holder works great, I used double sided tape instead of the velcro so the cupholders are actually held in place. It slid side to side a little with the Velcro. Also I have the manual in my truck, and when shifting into 2nd the shifter will occasionally hit the cup holders, could almost use a notch out of the front left corner. Other than that its a solid piece, and 100x better than the factory cup holders.

Just got it yesterday. Took a few minutes to adjust latch but fit right in. Stays in place with lid down but will put screw in if needed. Wish I would've ordered this a long time ago. Only drawback I can see is phoneholder could be deeper but since I rarely have a passenger will just use other cupholder.

Bought this after replacing the dash cup holder multiple times. This is great for auto trans trucks-no conflict. For manual trucks, depending on seat posistion 1st gear sometimes hits the cup holder. Also, depending on the size of the drink reverse is problematic. Overall, good product though
