Great Product

Great support from the vendor, answered my questions and resolved my confusion that mistook "Tube Nut" for the factory Round Nut, but actually referred to the Cylinder/Tube "nut" with the forked end to connect to the seat lifter and surrounds the worm shaft. Contrary to the Instructions I found an 8" C-Clamp worked much better and successfully to remove and re-install the Roll Pin that secures the motor to its bracket. (Flat end on the Roll Pin and Screwed end on the outside of the seat frame). I couldn't find enough room to use a Pin and hammer to beat it out per the instructions. Removing the Seat is time consuming as all the seats must be unfastened to allow access to the center/jump seat bolts to free the Drivers seat, also complicated by the seat belt sensor wiring the runs to the Passenger seat. Its definitely a time consuming but very rewarding project thanks to well illustrated instructions and excellent support.

Works as described,. Instructions are good,Not a simple project but doable for most DIY's. A video of the install would be good.

Instructions so good it felt like I'd done this before.

I purchased both the front and the rear motors. I was planning on replacing the whole seat undercarriage so all three motors would be new, but after finding out there ate multiple undercarriages used and mine was the expensive one ($500+) I decided to go this route. I'm very happy I did. I read the instructions a couple of times and went to work. It took me longer to get the seat out of the truck than it took to replace both the motors. The whole process was done before noon. The motors fit perfectly and works perfectly. I purchased two expansion pins in case there was an issue with the factory ones, and because the instructions are so good, I now have a pair of 1/4 inch expansion pins that are going to rattle around in my spare parts for the next forever. This was definitely the way to go. If I ever come across another set of bad motors again, I'll be buying the replacements from here. Now my only problem is figuring out what to do with the rest of the weekend...

This part (power seat rear up/down electric motor for 2008 Dodge 3500) fits and works well (quieter and smoother than stock). It's more complicated than I thought to install but doable by a moderately skilled DIY person with good tools. Instructions that came with it are excellent. Thanks Geno's!
