Description
Replace your factory forward/backward motor with this Horizontal Motor Conversion Kit. Uses 3rd Generation style motor.Forward and backward seat motor conversion for 1998-2002 2500 2500/3500 and 1998-2001 1500 Dodge Ram pickup trucks.
This kit does not replace your factory gears, only the motor is replaced.
Do not use bearing grease in the gear assemblies. It will attack the plastic gear cases and/or nylon gears. Only use Tribolith grease on nylon gears.

Adapter provided in the kit would require two notches to fit correctly onto the original gear housing . only one notch was machined into the adapter and it was in the wrong place . You can carefully file the male notches on the original gear housing flush with its mating surface and then the adapter provided with the kit works . Just an FYI .
